The Elba/Byron-Bergen Football team dominated CG Finney on Saturday, rolling the Falcons by a final score of 46-20. During the non-league affair, the Lancers were able to score on all but one of their possessions, and were led by Richard Flores and John Hochmuth.
Flores finished with 10 carries for 125 yards and a 2 TDs, while also catching one ball for 46 yards and a touchdown, while Hochmuth did his work through the air – finishing with 6 completions for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns. For Finney, Simeon Heard carried his team with 3 total touchdowns.
Defensively for the Lancers, Adam Walter totaled 14 tackles, 4 for a loss, while Tucker Bezon and Shane O’Halloran each recorded an interception.
With the win, Elba is now 4-2 as they approach their final game of the season vs Alexander next week.
