Scoring 20 points in his team’s 59-42 win over Byron-Bergen last night, Oakfield Boys Basketball’s Jon Harris did enough to not only lead his team, but earn Batavia’s Best of the Night.
Behind 27-19 at the end of the first half, Oakfield powered past Byron-Bergen during the final two quarters behind Harris’ 17 second-half points. In addition to their scoring leader, the Hornets also received a quality performance from Allen Chatt – who finished the game with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
In the loss, Brandon Burke recorded 17 points to go with 6 rebounds, while Colin Noeth scored 13 of his own.
