Ava Vescovi and Erin Cappotelli had it going for the Le Roy Girls Basketball team on Tuesday night, as the dynamic duo led the Knights to a 50-35 victory over Byron-Bergen in the first round of the Bees Holiday Tournament. Leading the way for the winning team was Vescovi who scored 16 including 2 three-pointers, while Cappotelli was just behind with 15 points of her own. With the win, the Knights now head to the finals of the B-B Tourney where they will meet Greece Odyssey tonight.
In defeat on Tuesday, the Bees were paced by 13 points from Bethany Ezard. They will face York tonight in the consolation game.
