The Notre Dame Boys Basketball team ended a short skid last night with a big win over Division I-leading Oakfield by a final score of 66-54. A BIG second quarter is what propelled the Irish to victory on Tuesday, as they scored 28 points during the frame to OA’s 10, which put the game out of reach for the Hornets early-on.
Highlighting the win for the Irish were a pair of Zambito’s as Luca and Nico were each able to record double-figures – with 17 and 16 points respectively. For Oakfield in defeat, Trey Nadolinski scored just 3 points, but grabbed 10 rebounds and 9 assists.
