The Notre Dame Hockey team earned a big 8-1 win over Aquinas last night, and with the win they will now move on to the Class B Sectional Final – where they will face-off with Geneseo. The Lakers defeated the Irish three times during the regular season, but you know what they say – it’s hard to beat a team four times.

Scoring for ND in the lopsided win over AQ last night were a multitude of skaters, as Bryan Moscicki and Peter Madafferi got the scoring started in the first period, Ryan Antinore (only player with two goals), Brad Misiak, and Henrik Toiviainen recorded goals in the second, and Cameron Clark and Devin Grimshaw lit the lamp in the third.

Ethan Conrad stopped 19 of 20 shots he faced on the night, with AQ’s Tyler Kelly scoring the lone goal for the Lil’ Irish.

The Class B Final will take place Sunday afternoon, puck drop 1:00 pm. Tune in to @BB_Scores on Twitter for LIVE updates.
