MATCHUP AT A GLANCE

Something’s gotta give in this one, as both teams enter today having rolled over their opposition thus far with no sign of slowing down. This matchup will serve as each team’s most-formidable test of the 2018 season.

The Wolfpack spreads their glut of talent all over the field on both sides of the ball, and rival Alexander in almost every major statistical category. However, the Trojans do outpace CSP in both points per game (41 to 40) and points against per game (6 to 9).

I watched the Wolfpack in their game against Depew earlier this season I came away with two main observations – CSP definitely has more size than Alexander, but they certainly don’t possess the athleticism in the Trojans’ arsenal.

I’m expecting a well-played football game this afternoon.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Alexander (V)

Chris McClinic (RB/DB)

Terrez Smith (RB/LB)

Clymer/Panama/Salamanca (VI)

Gerrrit Hinsdale (QB/FS)

Derek Ecklund (RB/LB)

PREDICTION

Alexander 28 Clymer/Salamanca/Panama 27
