Kylie Schlagenhauf led the Oakfield Girls Basketball team to a big win over an improving Pembroke team by a final score of 35-30. In the victory, Schlagenhauf topped all scorers with 13 points – including some key free throws down the stretch for her team. For Pembroke in defeat, Aralyse Johnson led her team with 8 points, while three other players scored 5 a piece for the Dragons.
Despite being behind at the end of the third quarter yesterday, the Hornets found a way to battle their way back down the stretch – and eventually walk away with the 5-point win.
