The Pavilion Boys Basketball team performed respectably throughout last season, but with three contributors returning to the team, the Golden Gophers are hoping for more moving forward. Here is a brief preview of their upcoming slate:

Pavilion Golden Gophers

Head Coach: Rob Milligan

Record Last Season: 11-11

Key Players

Luke Milligan (Junior) – Luke is the most athletic player for Pavilion, and will likely lead them on both sides of the floor.

Ryley Elliott (Junior) – Ryley provides size inside, as well as range from beyond the arc. He is a returning two-year starter.

Nate Swede (Junior) – Nate was bogged down by illness last season, and hopes to get a full campaign in this year.

Coach’s Outlook

“Our goal is to work hard & improve daily. Destiny is where we want to get to & that’s competing for the likes of a LCAA D3 Title & hopefully challenging for a top 4 seed in the Class D1 sectional bracket.”

– Pavilion HC Rob Milligan

It will be interesting to see where the Gophers finish this season. Stay tuned for further coverage of Livingston County League Basketball.
