Pembroke Football throttles Holley on Dragons’ Homecoming Night

The Pembroke Football team had little trouble with Holley last night, dropping the Hawks by a final score of 27-12. It is the first win of the season for the Dragons, who improve to 1-4 – while Holley falls to 0-5.

Leading the way for the Dragons was running back Jake Jasinski, who recorded 30 carries for 136 yards on Friday night, including a touchdown. Also performing well in victory for Pembroke was Reid Miano, who went 5/11 through the air from the quarterback position – totaling 66 yards and a score.

Defensively for Pembroke several players had big nights. The top-tackler for the Dragons was Zach von Kramer who recorded 10 solo tackles to go with 6 assists, 1 sack, 1 interception, and 1 fumble recovery. Dylan Miserantino totaled 9 solo tackles on the night as well as 2 sacks,, while Brian Seweryniak rounded things out with 9 tackles of his own – including 2 sacks and a fumble recovery.

Next up for the Dragons will be Alexander next week, while the Hawks take on Oakfield in Week 6.
