Pembroke Girls Basketball team wins Alden Tip-Off Tournament – Kohorst earns Tourney MVP

The Pembroke Girls Basketball team finished with a win in the finals of the Alden Tip-Off Tournament this past Saturday, defeating Akron 46-37.

 

 

Leading the way for the Dragons in their win over Akron was Olivia Kohorst, who scored 18 points, and grabbed 7 rebounds, while Mackenna Johnson was just behind her – chipping in 11 points, 5 rebounds of her own. Casey Wurtz also added a solid performance with 4 points and 10 rebounds. Kohorst and Johnson were each awarded All-Tournament Team honors, while the former received the MVP Award.

Up next for the Dragons (2-0) is a road game vs Attica on December 7th.
