Johnson three-putted on 18th – falling just short of forcing a playoff with Jordan Speith

Last night Dustin Johnson saw his chance at forcing a playoff with eventual US Open champion Jordan Speith quickly fade away following a three-putt to finish his round on the 18th green. Despite the tough finish, however, Johnson did a fabulous job roaring back down the stretch in order to give himself a chance – which leaves the question:
Did Dustin Johnson choke? Or did he simply run out of gas.
