Here are scores and stats leftover from this weekend:

Wayne Track and Field Invitational

Abby Biehl (Attica) was the lone local winner, as she finished first in the Pole Vault with a jump of 7’6″

Midlakes Softball Tournament

Alexander 14 Midlakes 8 FINAL

Alexander scored eight runs in the third inning on Saturday behind five-straight hits from Lindsay Czechowski, Mikayla Hickey, Samantha Sawyer, Madison Bykowski, and Jordin Cecere. The big offensive frame for the Trojans gave them a 14-6 lead.  That proved to be enough for Sawyer in the circle as she earned the victory, striking out five.  Carson Marzolf led the Alexander offense with a 3/3 day, including 3 rbi and 2 runs scored.

Alexander 6 Lyons 3 FINAL

In the bottom of the fifth McKenna Moran picked up a two-run double, driving in Bykowski and Cecere, and then later scored on a Hailie Kramer single which came with two outs.  Moran led the Trojans in the game, finishing 2/2 with 3 RBI.  Bykowski went 1/2 with 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored. Taya Townley battled the Lyons hitters and the driving rain to pick up the win, striking out five while only giving up two hits.
