My top 3 candidates:
1. Jim Schwartz (Bills DC) – Players love him, his defense was the reason the Bills went 9-7 this year.
2. Mike Shanahan (FA) – Bills had interest in him years ago, Super Bowl pedigree, will bring instant credibility to a futile organization, has the ability to improve the offense.
3. Rex Ryan (FA) – Led Jets to multiple AFC Championships, great defensive mind which is the Bills strength.
Here are 3 candidates that I do NOT want coaching the Bills in 2015:
1. Frank Reich (OC San Diego) – Unproven, Chargers offense struggled down the stretch during 2014.
2. Adam Gase (OC Denver) – Denver offense has struggled down the stretch of 2014 and thats with the best QB of all-time under center.
3. Any College Coach (Anywhere) – The Bills don’t need another coach who is going to ‘learn as he goes’. Buffalo needs experience at the HC position.
