Both Cal-Mum and Wheatland-Chili experienced extremely exciting Girls Sports seasons during 2015-2016. This season, with each team entering the year as defending champions in Girls Soccer – another big year could be on the horizon.

Although both the Red Raiders and Wildcats lost plenty of talent to graduation that they will sorely miss come the beginning of the regular season, the depth of each team last season was what really gave them the opportunity to succeed late into the 2015-2016 year. I see that as the primary factor which will allow them to carry their previous success into this season.

Although in the past, we typically concentrate on football-centric coverage throughout the fall season, during the 2016-2017 year we will be covering ALL Fall Sports as the demand for our coverage has increased with each passing year – largely due to the successes of our local teams.

I hope you enjoy our coverage this season, as we enjoy bringing it to you each and every day, and good luck to ALL Fall Sports programs this season.
