Griffins simply too fast for the Blue Devils on Friday night

The Attica Football team battled last night, but were unable to keep up with U Prep – falling to the Griffins 40-26. In what was a back-and-forth game early-on, UP would eventually pull away during the early portion of the second half and walked away with a relatively easy victory.
Performing well in defeat for the Blue Devils were team leaders Alex Piechocki, Damian Marchetii, and Levi Snyder.
Piechocki finished the night with 25 carries, totaling 110 yards and four total touchdowns. Marchetti linked up with his running back for one of the touchdowns, and finished with 69 passing yards on 8 completions. Snyder played well defensively for Attica, totaling 7 tackles.
For the Griffins, Kory Wyatt rushed for over 200 yards and four touchdowns.
Next up for Attica is a high-profile matchup with Elba/Byron-Bergen next week. The Blue Devils are now 3-1.
