The Holley Boys Basketball team picked up just their second win of the season last night, stunning Oakfield by a final score of 49-48. Ahead the entire first half, the Hornets were unable to continue to score they way they had during the initial 16:00 – eventually faltering throughout the second half – and fell by one as a result. Give credit to Holley, who hasn’t had much to cheer about this season, as they have put forth a few consecutive quality performances vs Alexander, and now Oakfield, and could provide trouble for other teams in the last half-week of the season.

Scoring for the Hawks in the win were Dylan Hillabush who scored 14 points, Derek McArthur who recorded 13, and Zach Vaccarelli who dropped 12.

For Oakfield in what was their most-disappointing loss of the season, Dalton Carlsen led the way with 11 points, while Jake Mandel scored 10.
