It is time to unveil my All-Batavia’s Best Football Team – both offense and defense. Selections to the All-Defensive team were made based upon each player’s overall statistics from the 2015 season. Here is the defensive portion of my 2015 All-Batavia’s Best Football Team:
Dustin Schmeider (Alexander) – 69 total tackles, 4 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries
Levi Snyder (Attica) – 70 total tackles, 2 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions
Dom Mogavero (Batavia) – 97 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 interception
Cameron Geiger (Cal-Mum) – 125 total tackles
Andrew Gottler (Elba/Byron-Bergen) – 61 total tackles
Zach Day (Holley) – 85 total tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 1 interception
Reed Kacur (Le Roy) – 38 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 1 sack
CJ Suozzi (Notre Dame) – 65 total tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 1 fumble recovery
John Harris (Oakfield) – 106 total tackles, 3 sacks
Jake Jasinski (Pembroke) – 65 total tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 2 sacks
Honorable Mention: Zach Jasen (Alexander) – 52 total tackles, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery; Kyle Zawadski (Attica) – 60 total tackles; Rob Voos (Cal-Mum) – 87 total tackles; John Hochmuth (Elba/Byron-Bergen) – 30 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 1 interception; Nick Passarell (Holley) – 67 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions; Nick Egeling (Le Roy) – 33 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 1 interception; Ethan Osborne (Notre Dame) – 24 total tackles, 2 sacks, 8 tackles for loss; Zach von Kramer (Pembroke) – 92 total tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions
