Here is my 2016 Season Preview for the Alexander Girls Soccer Team:

———-

Last Year’s Record: 16-2-1

Head Coach: Shane Sutton

Key Players: Juniors Lauren Hume and Alexis Breton, along with Senior Hannah Barnaby will all be pivotal players for the Trojans this season.

Season Outlook: “We had a good offseason with many girls playing for their club teams,” said Alexander head coach Shane Sutton. “We graduated a number of quality seniors, but are looking for the returners to step up and lead the team this year. The team has had a good preseason so far and the girls are working very hard.  A competitive season is expected, competing in a very tough division and class this year – as we play last year’s Sectional Champ in our league.  Finally, we are looking to go deeper into Sectionals this year.”

Alexander Girls Soccer was impressive a season ago, but it seems as if the team is looking for even more this year.
