Ahead just 3 points at halftime, the Attica Boys Basketball team outscored Pembroke 28-13 during the final two quarters of play on Thursday night in order to beat the Dragons 59-41. The win was huge for the Devils, as they were coming off a tough loss to Oakfield earlier this week.

A big factor in Pembroke’s ability to stay in the game during the first half was their hot shooting. Sinking 6 three-pointers throughout the game’s first 16:00, the Dragons really stuck with Attica for quite some time, but eventually ran out of gas near the end of the contest.

“I’m really proud of my team and how they answered the bell after last game,” said Attica head coach Rob Crowley following the game via text. “We played really tough tonight and hopefully we can move forward off this win and continue momentum moving forward.”

Leading the Blue Devils vs Pembroke was forward Levi Snyder who recorded a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, while also chipping in 5 assists and 3 steals.

“I’m really happy for Levi,” added Crowley. “That was one of the best all-around games I’ve seen in a while.”

Also producing for Attica were usual suspects Colden George and Owen Thompson, who scored 16 points and 15 points respectively. George added 6 assists from his PG position.

With the win, Attica gets right back on track and will look to carry their solid play moving forward within the league.
