Ahead 18 points at the end of the first half, the Batavia Boys Basketball team allowed visiting Monroe to climb their way back into things during the second half – behind an onslaught from behind the three point line. However, give the Blue Devils credit, as they were able to weather the storm, and get a few stops down the stretch, which gave them a 60-52 victory – and a spot in the semi finals.
Four players scored in double figures for Batavia vs Monroe, as Malachi Chenault and Jake Schrider finished the night with 14 points a piece, while TeeSean Ayala scored 13, and Ryan Hogan scored 12.
