Here is my 2016 Season Preview for the Batavia Girls Tennis Team:

———-

Last Year’s Record: 11-5

Head Coach: Kevin Walkowski

Key Players: Sophia Stuart, Melissa Mountain, and Stephanie Hoy return for the Blue Devils as a strong nucleus in singles. They have all improved their game and are looking forward to going back to the Sectional Finals – per their head coach. Lauren Leone, who played almost exclusively at doubles last year has returned as well and has strengthened her game and is making a push into the singles competition – per her head coach.

Season Outlook: “We are looking to return to the Sectional Finals again this year,” said Batavia head coach Kevin Walkowski. The girls have been working hard and I’m pleased with the way they are playing. The girls from last years Modified team will fill in nicely as well, as they are a great group of girls and they will be the key to our success this season.”
