The Elba Girls Basketball team played a sound defensive game last night, defeating Holley by a final score of 43-14. Leading the way for the Lancers in the win were Emily Reynolds and Carli Bogue, who scored 20 and 15 points respectively. This is now Elba’s second-consecutive win this week after defeating Pembroke in the ‘Shooting for a Cure’ game, and after a slow start to the season, they just may be starting to find their groove. Stay tuned to see where this mini hot streak ends up.
