Last night the HAC swim team was able to sweep Attica on both the Girls (57-37) and Boys (50-44) side. However, several Attica swimmers performed well in defeat – as six finished as multi-winners.
For the Girls, the highlight of the meet came when the 200 medley relay team composed of Bailey Mallon, Reagan Bifarella, Jordan Hardie, and Bayli Fugle won their event in a time of 2:04.17 – which is a new school record. Individually, Jordyn Stachowiak won the 200 freestyle for her lone victory, while Hardie and Mallon added to their relay win with wins in the 100 free + 100 breast, and the 100 back respectively.
On the Boys side, Alex Kunes and Tyler Stachowiak recorded three wins a piece, while Andrew Stoffel and Matthew Langerman each recorded double-wins. Kunes was a winner in both the 200 IM and 100 fly, Stachowiak won the 50 free and 100 free, Stoffel won the 100 breast, Langerman won the 200 free – while the lot were each members of the winning 400 free relay team.
