Leading their team to victory last night, both Aralyse Johnson and Olivia Kohorst each recorded double-figures for Pembroke as the Dragons overcame the Lyndonville Tigers by a final score of 44-30.

To go with her big day offensively, Johnson also chipped in 11 rebounds in what was a complete day for her on both ends of the floor. In addition, Kohorst contributed in other ways to help the Dragons as well, as she chipped in 7 steals – many of which were turned into points. Adding to her teammates’ notable performances, Emma Patterson grabbed 12 rebounds and 4 steals.

For Lyndonville in defeat, Anna Lewis and Makenzie Muck each led the way with 9 points a piece – muck added 7 rebounds. Other stats for the Tigers include 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists for Aubrey Lewis to go with her 8 points, and 4 blocks for Jasmine Plummer.

The win was a big one for Pembroke as they were able to rebound after a tough loss in their annual ‘Shooting for a Cure’ game – which was won by Elba.
