After a crushing loss to the Attica Blue Devils a week ago, Notre Dame will head down the road to Holley in hopes of pushing their record over .500 on the season. The Irish were unable to get anything going for much of the game in Week 6, turning the ball over time after time and allowing the Blue Devils to drive on them with regularity.

This week, they will be faced with a much simpler challenge, as the 1-5 Hawks will welcome them to town in hopes of improving their own record. Holley has had a tough go of it this year, as limited athleticism and mental mistakes have killed them throughout their six games.

If the Irish are to do what they are supposed to, and win the game, it will be because of their defense.

Holding the majority of their opponents to under 20 points this year, ND has performed admirably on defense throughout their schedule and will have to do so once again as they face-off with Holley. If they can prevent the Hawks from finding running lanes outside, and turn them over once or twice, I believe the Irish could walk away from this one with an easy win. However, if Notre Dame performs the way they did in Week 6 offensively, it could be another long day for them.

Taking all this into account, I am going with the Irish on Saturday. Give me ND in a blowout.
