Following their rout of the Fighting Irish a week ago, the Blue Devils come into this game sporting a 6-0 record and have shown no signs of slowing down. Faced with the task of stopping Attica tomorrow night, Oakfield is coming off of a blowout victory, and has plenty of momentum heading into this contest.
In Week 6, Attica’s defense put forth a night to remember. Intercepting over 5 passes through four quarters vs ND, the Blue Devils were able to turn the Irish over early and often when they tried to go to the air, and that could also be the case this week.
With the Hornets attack coming primarily through the air during this season, OA has used several different talented receivers in various formations in order to get the job done. On many occasions Oakfield’s quarterback Allen Chatt has found himself throwing the ball well over 20 times in a single game, and will likely be called upon to do the same tomorrow night.
Although they have found success doing so on several occasions this year, the Hornets have yet to throw against a defense like Attica’s, and I see that being the difference in this match up. Although I believe it will be close, give me the Blue Devils getting the last stop in this one.
Prediction: Attica 30 Oakfield 24
