Entering this week, Alexander has been without a doubt one of the hottest teams in the GR League. A winner in each of their previous two games, the Trojans have shown great ability both offensively and defensively as of late and will carry their momentum into tonight’s contest against Pembroke.

The Dragons are without a win this season but have been playing good football throughout stretches of each of their five losses on the season. Showing glimpses now and again with each passing game, it may be time for this team to put a complete contest together and walk away with a win.

Standing in their way, however, will be the impressive running attack on part of Alexander. Equipped with two quality backs in Tristan Aldinger and Jake Wozniak, the Trojans were able to run all over the Oakfield Hornets a week ago, eclipsing 100 yards in a total team effort.

Along with their vaunted ground attack on offense, Alexander’s defense will also present issues for the Dragons. Led by Jake Riggs, Ty Laird and Wozniak, the Trojans’ defense has displayed their ability to get to the quarterback throughout the year and will make it difficult for Pembroke’s Mitch Lewter and Cal Neurohr to get anything going on that side of the ball.

After careful consideration, I am picking Alexander. Give me the Trojans.

Prediction: Alexander 24 Pembroke 12
