After consecutive losses to Elba and Lyndonville, the Pembroke Boys Basketball team was able to pick up a big league win over Notre Dame last night by a final score of 52-39 (previously reported as 45-39) 45-39. Leading the way for the Dragons were their three top offensive threats, as Kyle Ludwig, Ryan Cansdale, and Zach von Kramer Reid Miano and Kyle Ludwig who each recorded double figures.

The leading scorers for Pembroke was Cansdale with 17 points from his point guard position, while von Kramer did much of his work inside – finishing with 14 points. Ludwig rounded things out with 12 points including 1 three-pointer. were Ludwig and Miano who each scored 15. For Notre Dame CJ Suozzi and Tyler Prospero each scored 10 points.

Going forward, Pembroke will face-off with Kendall and Wheatland-Chili in their next two league games – which should provide them with an opportunity to get right back on track with a nice little winning streak heading into their non-league affair with Arkport-Canaseraga next week.

(Corrections were made due to an error made on my part. When viewing the stats submitted for last night’s game, I read them incorrectly. Long story…)
