The Blue Devils completed the undefeated season this past week, and will now move on to the Sectional quarterfinals where they will meet ER/Gananda who is coming off a victory of their own over Wayland-Cohocton in Week 7.

If Attica is to defeat the Bombers, which I expect them to do without much of an issue, they will move on to face the winner of Bath and Elba/B-B, who also play this weekend in their own quarterfinal match up. If the Rams come out of this one like I believe they will, they will surely present Attica with a worthy challenge in round two.

On the other side of the Class C bracket, Le Roy will almost certainly make it to the finals. With Dansville, Way-Co, and Lyons/Sodus standing in their way, I doubt any of these programs will stand a chance against the Oatkan Knights.

Given all of this, it is clear to me that the Blue Devils have drawn the more-difficult end of the stick in terms of their road to the finals within Class C. Having to go through either a real tough Bath team, or a league opponent in Elba/B-B in the second round, the Blue Devils are sure to be tested with each passing week and will be in need of their best effort if they hope to reach their ultimate goal.

Stay tuned later this week, as we will provide you with everything you need to know about Attica’s upcoming match up with ER/Gananda, scouting reports of the other teams the Blue Devils may face down the road, along with all of the other action around Section V Football!!
