Per a Genesee Region League Football source, the Elba and Byron-Bergen school districts have decided to end the football and cheerleading merger between the two schools.
It is unclear where each school will turn from here, although both are expected to pursue other options in order to keep football and cheerleading available to their student athletes during the fall season – one way or another.
