It’s a Sweep: Batavia Boys and Girls Track and Field teams win Section V Class B Titles

In a sweep of Class B, the Batavia Boys and Girls each finished as Sectional Champions last night at the Section V Track and Field Championships. The Boys won 124-120 over runner-up Olympia, while the Girls was a much more lopsided 101-62 over second place Livonia.

Individual champions for Batavia were as follows:

Anthony Ray Jr. – Shot Put (49’3.25″), Discus (146’8″)

Adonis Davis – Triple Jump (44’7.75″), High Jump (6’4″)

Girls 3200 Relay (Murray, Zickl, Bromley, Dinehart, Henrici, Fulton)

Kiaya Franklin – 100 Dash (12.51), 200 Dash (25.97), 400 m (57.69)

Rachel Denise – Pole Vault (9’0″)
