Here are my selections:
Players of the Week:
Damien Marchetti – Attica – 12 carries for 80 yards rushing and a TD; 8 of 13 passing and a TD
Marchetti played an outstanding game on Saturday against the Irish. Highlighted by a 40-yard TD in the first half, the Attica QB competed well while passing and running on his way to being selected as one of our Players of the Week. The Blue Devils are now 6-0.

Reice Woodward – Oakfield – 5 receptions, 168 yards receiving, 3 touchdowns
Once again an Oakfield wide receiver makes our list of top performances. Capitalizing on strong play from his quarterback as did Sal Schwable in Week 5, Reice Woodward went off against the Holley Hawks on Saturday. With scores of 20, 55, and 64 yards, Woodward caught all three of his QBs touchdown passes and controlled the game for all 48 minutes along the outside. It was an incredible exhibition by the athletic wideout, as Holley seemed unable to find an answer for him along with several other Hornets all night long.

Jake Wozniak – Alexander – 208 yards rushing, 1 touchdown; 6 tackles and a sack defensively
Jake Wozniak had a day and a half against Pembroke on Friday night. Eclipsing 200 yards on the ground, Wozniak also scored a touchdown against the Dragons, as well as totaling 6 tackles and a sack defensively. He was all over the field in Week 6 and has really shined on both sides of the ball for the Trojans as of late.
(Unfortunately we didn’t have an individual photo for Wozniak.)
All of my Week 6 selections put forth great efforts this weekend.
