Players of the Week:
Jake Strzelec – Attica – 221 yds rushing, 5 rushing touchdowns
Apart from his time spent sidelined due to injury Strzelec has been virtually unstoppable this season. Completing his biggest game this past week, the Attica bruiser went for 5 scores and also ran for over 200 yards in his team’s blowout victory over Elba.

Sal Schwable – Oakfield – 7 receptions, 110 yards receiving, 1 touchdown
Schwable was the favorite target of his quarterback on Friday night. Securing 7 receptions throughout the night, the Hornets’ wide receiver really did a nice job getting open consistently and finding room for plenty of yards after the catch.

The Notre Dame Running Backs (Peter Daversa and Jack Sutherland) – Notre Dame – 237 yards rushing, 2 touchdowns

Sutherland and Daversa ran all over the Finney Falcons this weekend. Eclipsing the 200-yard mark at the end of the day, the dynamic duo left it all on the field and will look to pick up where they left off when they face Attica next week.
All of my Week 5 selections put forth great efforts this weekend. Stay tuned later tonight when we announce the Week 5 MVP voted on by the fans. I have a feeling I know who it is going to be….
