Despite many athletes from around the league putting forth notable efforts this week, four players’ performances stood out above the rest. Here are my Week 3 High School Football Players of the Week:

Greg Mruczek | Batavia Football – 14/27 passing, 248 yards passing, and 5 touchdown passes vs Wilson this past week at Sahlen’s Stadium

Allen Chatt | Oakfield Football – 13 completions, 212 yards passing, and 4 touchdowns @ Pembroke (second-straight week with 4 TDs)

Levi Snyder | Attica Football – 15 total tackles, 1 sack, 2 fumble recoveries – one of which set up Blue Devils’ first score vs Alexander

Jack Sutherland | Notre Dame Football – 22 carries, 205 rushing yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, INT and 5.5 tackles defensively vs Elba/Byron-Bergen

Honorable mention: Josh Laurie (Le Roy), Alex Piechocki (Attica Football)

Congratulations to our High School Football Players of the Week. Now, it’s time for the fans to provide some input.

Stay tuned tomorrow morning in order to see who wins the fan vote for MVP for Week 3 of the High School Football season.
