Led by Eddy Schildt and Nick Hinkson, the Lyndonville Boys Basketball team overcame Notre Dame for the first time in 10 years. Schildt topped all scorers with 22 points, while Hinkson was just behind with 19 of his own – while Eric Neace also chipped in 16. For ND in defeat, CJ Suozzi and Tyler Prospero each recorded 12 points.

“It was a long-time waiting,” said Lyndonville head coach Lee Dillenbeck following the game. “Last time (we beat Notre Dame) was the 2005-2006 season.”

Ahead 19-12 after the first quarter, and 37-24 at the half, the Tigers had this game within their grasp from the very start and never let up – winning by a final score of 67-49.
