Following #5 Kendall’s victory over #12 Alexander earlier this week, the Eagles will now move on to face #4 Dundee in the quarterfinals – tonight at 7:00 pm. Here is a brief scouting report:
Dundee
– Large roster of 15+ players (15 pictured to the left)
– Good size – Leading scorer is 6’5″
– Overall 16-3 this season
– Led by 6’0″ G Andrew Clark (11 ppg), 6’3″ F Ryan Sprague (9 ppg) and 6’5″ F Jarrett Butler (14 ppg)
– Kendall has some size to combat the Scots’ strength inside
-Kendall may try to press in order to keep the Scots from pounding it inside
While Kendall very well could pull the upset tonight, I do see the Scots being the team headed to the semis when its all said and done. Dundee has played quality ball all season long and are well-coached – while also possessing a multitude of threats on the floor at any given time. The Eagles have had a great run this year, but look for it to come to an end tonight – barring their best performance of the season.
The other three quarterfinal games tonight in Class C2 are as follows:
#8 Clyde-Savannah at #1 Cal-Mum
#7 Perry at #2 Red Creek
#6 Geneseo at #3 Canisteo-Greenwood
