A Golden Gopher and a Hornet highlight my list

This week there were several athletes who performed well across all of high school sports. However, I found two that stood out above the rest. Here are my Athletes of the Week:
Hannah Dunlap – Oakfield Softball
This past week Oakfield Softball’s Hannah Dunlap had an incredible week at the plate. Against Lyndonville on Tuesday, and against Byron-Bergen on Wednesday, Dunlap accumulated two home runs, a triple, four RBI, two runs scored and a walk – earning her Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this season.
Congratulations to Oakfield’s Hannah Dunlap – our Girls Athlete of the Week.
Hayden Ewell – Pavilion Baseball
Pavilion Baseball’s Hayden Ewell had a game to remember earlier this past week. Despite allowing a single run in his start against Cal-Mum, Hayden finished the game without allowing a hit – which was enough to earn him Athlete of the Week honors for this week.
Congratulations to Pavilion’s Hayden Ewell – our Boys Athlete of the Week.
