Rylee has played well for the Lady Dragons all season long. To go with teammate Aralyse Johnson, Moser has consistently led her team offensively and also has impressed on the defensive end as well. Here is her profile:

#12 Rylee Moser – Point Guard – Pembroke Girls Basketball

Height: 5’3″
Class: Senior

Favorite thing about high school sports: “My favorite thing is forming new bonds with a different group of girls each year. It’s amazing how close we all become throughout the season, and having people to always pick you up when you’re down is such a great feeling. Also, I love being involved in competitive activities such as basketball.”

Most memorable moments of high school sports career: “Beating Elba two years in a row after Pembroke has lost to them over the past 30 years, making it to sectional finals my junior year, participating in the ‘Shooting For A Cure!’ game since the very first year it started, being pulled up to the varsity soccer team as a freshman and starting ever since, as well as being pulled up to the Varsity basketball team as a sophomore, and being a captain of the team my Senior year.”

Future plans after high school: “In the future I plan to attend Genesee Community College to major in nursing, and eventually move out of state to somewhere sunny and warm.”

AB: Did you have any sports heroes growing up??

RM: Growing up, I always watched my older brother Steven play basketball. He was the reason I started playing basketball as a young kid, and he has taught me mostly everything I know about the game. He was the player I looked up to throughout my years of playing basketball. No matter if it was a pick-up basketball game or an actual game, my brother was always there with advice to make me a stronger player.

AB: What brings out your nerves on the court?

RM: Something that always bothers me on the court is when my outside shots aren’t falling as much as I would like them to.

AB: Outside of the sports you already play, are there any others you wish you would have played growing up?

RM: I would have loved to play lacrosse or rugby.

AB: What do you do for fun besides sports?

RM: Outside of sports I spend a lot of time with my friends and family, but my favorite thing to do is fish during summer.

AB: What has been your most impressive accomplishment in athletics?

RM: One of my biggest accomplishments during my athletics was winning the Alden State Bank tournament two years in a row, and receiving the “All Tournament Team” award both years. Another impressive accomplishment was making it to the Sectional Finals last season.

Rylee and the Dragons have had a fantastic season and will likely enjoy further success as they finish up the year. Good luck to the Pembroke Girls Basketball team!
