Tonight, #6 Oakfield will head to #3 Wheatland-Chili for the two teams’ third matchup of the season. For #8 Pavilion, they draw top-seeded Naples in the quarterfinals. Here is a brief scouting report for the Green Machine:
Naples
– Large roster of 15 players (12 pictured to the left)
– No player over 6’3″
– Led by #15 Isaiah Tilley
– Not immensely athletic
– 18-0 record coming into this game
I do expect them to put up a fight, but tonight’s game will be an extremely tough one for the Gophers. They drew a tough second round matchup with the top-seed, and unless they bring a Herculean effort tonight, I expect them to likely be sent home early.
As far as Wheatland-Chili vs Oakfield is concerned, the previous matchups between the two teams have both gone to the Wildcats, but the Hornets are coming off of a quality performance against Keshequa – and I expect them to continue their strong play tonight. However, I imagine Wheatland will be just a bit too much for OA and the higher-seed will walk away a winner. Here are links to the articles from the Wildcats and Hornets’ previous two matchups:

Elsewhere in Class C3, these games will also take place tonight:
#5 RCMCS at #4 York
#7 Cuba-Rushford at #2 Lyons
