This past weekend, I picked each local HS football game including the score. Let’s see how I did….
My Prediction: Oakfield 28 Notre Dame 14 √
Actual Result: Oakfield 16 Notre Dame 13 F
Although I was way off on the score, it’s the end result that really counts. Oakfield survives after a late scare.
My Prediction: Alexander 21 Finney 10 X
Actual Result: Alexander 20 Finney 28 F
In my defense, I admitted to this pick being a shot in the dark. I knew nothing about Finney.
My Prediction: Attica 30 Holley 17 √
Actual Result: Attica 42 Holley 0
I knew this game would be one sided, just wasn’t sure to what extent. Holley will improve going forward with a new coach, and several new players.
My Prediction: Elba 21 Pembroke 20 √
Actual Result: Elba 21 Pembroke 7
Figured this one would be close. Pembroke showed positive signs but could not finish drives, which ultimately led to their demise.
My Prediction: Batavia 26 Livonia 20 X
Actual Result: Batavia 16 Livonia 19
3/5 isn’t bad. Right?
