AB: What challenges does your sport present that are unique and separate from other sports?

JL: It is an individual sport. There is only you and one other person out there on the mat and it’s a fight and only your own mind will get you through it.

AB: What pushes you to work through the difficulties that come with wrestling?

JL: The thing that pushes me is my family as well as my drive to be successful and my love for the sport.

AB: Who do you enjoy working with the most on the mat? Who has helped you improve the most?

JL: I enjoy wrestling our 138 pounder Thatcher Mowry. We have a lot of fun but we know how to work. Zac Condidorio has helped me to improve a lot, too, and has helped me with things on and off the mat.

AB: Do you recall your favorite match in which you believe you performed the best?

JL: My favorite match was this year against Ryan Macdonnell from Midlakes which I wrestled very well in.

AB: What do  you hope to accomplish in the future?

JL: I am hoping to get the privilege to wrestle in the State Tournament as well as this summer I will be practicing and training fro Flo Tournaments.
